This datapack enables survival mode layers to disable trial spawners.

How it works

This datapack adds three new items:

• Copper Spawner Key (1 Durability)
• Diamond Spawner Key (10 Durability)
• Netherite Spawner Key (40 Durability) These can be crafted with 3 new recipes, all requiring trial keys or ominous trial keys. Players can right-click these keys on trial spawners to disable or reenable them. This is only possible when the spawner is on cooldown. When a trial spawner becomes disabled, a red glass block appears around the spawner indicating it being disabled.

Other Information

This datapack is made for people that are annoyed by trial spawners activating over and over again because they pass them often, but also don't want to destroy them. This datpack comes with an optional but recommended resource pack. It adds language support and will add custom textures. I also plan stuff for the fututure like custom textures and actual smithing recipe for the mod version. The resource pack file is the same as the datapack. You can contact me on Discord: WozuXbox

Developers/Admins

Running

/function disabletrial:admin

will give you an admin book. In it, everything from information on how to restrict the functionality under certain conditions over a few config options to clickable commands to get the keys can be found. This datapack does not fix neither cause custom trial spawners to delete their data when their cooldown runs out.
